Learn about the physics of flight (gravity, lift, airflow, thrust, drag, etc.) as well as the many careers that support the aviation industry. Apply math and science concepts to several hands-on learning activities. Developed to the Minnesota State Standards, interactive activities including, but not limited to: building models such as balsa glider, and foam gliders, learning about propulsion modes, aviation careers, aeronautical charts, and much more.
Participants should bring a bag lunch and a water bottle.
Dress for the weather as some activities are outside. If snowy, boots, hats, coats and gloves are a must!
