Activity: What's inside an electric motor, how does it work, and what do magnets have to do with it? See for yourself as you experiment with the "world's simplest motor."
Come any time between 10am and 4pm. The activity will be ongoing at regular intervals with the first beginning at 10:30am. Activity length ranges from 30 to 45 minutes.
Target Age Range: The activity is designed for parents and children ages 5 to 12.
Costs:
Exhibits: $6/person ages 3 and up. Free for members of The Works.
Activity: additional $3/child ages 5 to 12
Design Lab: additional $2/person ages 3 and up. Free for members of The Works.
Registration: No pre-registration is required.
Sibling Policy: Younger siblings are always welcome to come for the museum exploration.
Parent/Guardian Policy: A parent must be present during classroom activity.
