Basic tap steps, combinations, and routines will be taught. No previous experience necessary.
Age appropriate music is used in all classes including selections from Disney, Broadway Musicals, classical, special children's music and more.
Children may be asked periodically to work at home on memorization of routines.
All children will need a pair of tap shoes. Children should be dressed in something comfortable to move in such as a leotard with tights or sweatpants and a T-shirt.
Children receive the optional opportunity to perform in community events and the year end show.
Target Age Range: Ages 6 to 10
Cost per Child/Student: $115/11 week sessions
Sibling Policy: Non-enrolled siblings should remain in the lobby with their parents. River Ridge Arts Center asks that noise be kept to a minimum so as not to disturb other tenants.
Parent/Guardian/Educator Policy: There are two comfortable lobbies available in River Ridge Art Center where parents are welcome to wait while their children attend class. Both lobbies offer free Wi-Fi, tables and comfortable chairs. For your convenience there is a coatroom in the main floor lobby area.
