Farm Discovery: Maple Syruping

Join Gale Woods Farmers in a hike to the sugar bush where you will tap trees, taste sap and find out how it goes from sap to syrup at the sugar shack. After our hike to the sugarbush, we will take maple syrup and use it to make a farm snack. The day will end with caring for the  sheep and/or laying hens.

Target Age Range: This program is designed for the skills and interests of children ages 2 to 4 (toddlers and preschoolers).

Cost per Child/Student: $10
Cost per Adult/Educator: free

Parent/Guardian Policy:  All children must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult who attends at no charge. Parents may be asked to assist the Farm Educator during the program.
