Walk through our Garden in autumn at the end of our season and become inspired to create works of poetry and art. Try writing a haiku. Discover the cinquain poem. Or combine art and writing using “picture poetry”. The fall colors, scurrying animals, chirping chickadees, and cool temperatures will inspire even the most hesitant writer to create eloquent works of poetry and lovely nature art. Bring home your poetry in your own nature journal.
All students should bring along a nature journal or notebook and colored pencils for sketching and notetaking.
All programs meet at the front gate of the Garden.
