Spam Protection and Payment Instructions

You are responsible for…

  1. supplying the organizer with a reliable email address that you check regularly
  2. ensuring that your junk mail filters allow emails from the organizer to reach you

Failure to receive email instructions does not excuse you from your registration commitments. When you register for a Homeschool Adventure, you are making a commitment to reimburse the organizer for the cost of your family’s participation, which means taking responsibility for ensuring that you are able to receive the information you need to do so.

Given the nature of Payment Instructions, they are prone to falling prey to overly aggressive spam filters, so please be sure your email spam filters will recognize the organizer’s email address as legitimate. If you don’t receive the expected email, it is your responsibility to notice this and search your bulk, junk or spam folders for the email and to contact the organizer if you don’t find it.

Occasionally, organizers also fall prey to overly aggressive spam filters, so if an organizer doesn’t respond to your emails, please attempt to contact the organizer using another method. Many organizers will include their phone number in the Event Notice, but you may also write to the Homeschool Adventures Moderators at hsadventures-owner [at] yahoogroups [dot] com to request assistance in reaching the organizer or post a general appeal to the list at hsadventures [at] yahoogroup [dot] com for the event organizer to contact you.
