LIGHT, established in 1995, is a Christian based, parent-led homeschooling co-op that focuses on supporting one another through encouragement, the sharing of gifts, information and ideas, and developing Christian relationships. We offer nursery, preschool, and classes for K-12th grade. Our members co-teach a variety of classes each semester. There are 2 class periods about 1 1/2 hours long. Class topics may include art, PE, speech, science, etc. Classes for 7th-12th grade are determined by the needs of our families each year. Paid teachers may be hired accasionally. We offer a mom's support hour each time we meet. In addition we offer field trips, community service projects, mom's night out, and holiday parties.
