Proof of homeschool status

You may be asked to present proof of homeschool status to receive a discount. This is no such official document, so policies vary as to what such proof might be, but the most common requirements are:

  1. A copy of your “Letter of Intent” or “Initial Report to Superintendent
  2. Your membership card to MHA, ECHO-MN, or other homeschool group.
    • You can use a template to create and print at home a free homeschool ID card or order a professionally printed, sturdy plastic (PVC) homeschool ID card for your own homeschool at the Homeschool Buyer's Co-op.
    • You can design and print your own; no lamination necessary, but feel free to get fancy if you enjoy such things — you can google "teacher id" for examples and ideas.
  3. A few places will request a signed letter attesting to your homeschool status.
