Small-group lesson and approximately one hour of band practice each week. Children with previous instrumental experience are welcome. Children can also start as complete beginners. The program allows you rent-to-own instruments if you do not already have one.

Learning Together Rochester is a secular, liberal homeschool group in Rochester, MN. We meet on Wednesday mornings, several times per month for a relaxed couple of hours of learning, cooking, crafts and games. We also meet for get-togethers and field trips periodically. We seek to provide a consistent peer group for our children as well as homeschooling discussion and support for the parents. Our target age range is birth to 5 years, but older siblings are welcome.

Each fall, the 4 nominees for the National Homeschool Book Award are announced. Homeschool kids across the country read the four books and then place their votes. NHBA posts activities and ideas related to each book but here in the Twin Cities, NHBA goes one step further and offers live book club gatherings.
