Along the north shore of Medicine Lake and connecting to the Medicine Lake Regional Trail, French Regional Park offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor exploration including a swimming beach, fishing pier, lighted trails, cross-country skiing, a creative play area, and much more.

French Regional Park is home to the Outdoor Recreation School which specializes in adventure-based activities. The Outdoor Recreation School houses a challenge course and a 25-foot climbing wall and is located adjacent to hiking trails, cross-country ski trails and regional bike trails. Activities include downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, orienteering, geocaching, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, archery, survival skills, golfing, team building and more.

    for ages 6-17, $5/child (includes all the equipment and bait). Crappies and sunfish should be biting at this time of year. Learn the basics of fishing on Medicine Lake. Learn about equipment, bait, local fish, and how to catch and release.

    Team Building Trek
    for ages 9-17, $5/child. Embark on an adventure to test your team-working skills. Your group will be presented with a series of physical and mental challenges as you trek through the woods. Your journey will end at our Challenge Course where you will be presented with one final element.
