Costumed interpreters tell the Gibbs Family story from Jane (DeBow) Gibbs early childhood among the Dakota Indians to the market garden farm of 1900.

We offer two separate tours; Dakota culture or a pioneer experience. Groups can also ask for tours with a special emphasis. For example a garden club may enjoy a landscape tour or a preschool group may want more time to visit the farm's animals. Tours are 1 to 2 hours in length, depending on the group and may be tailored to the age level or interests of the group. Preschool, seniors and special needs groups are welcome. Special arrangements can be made at the time of reservation.

Outdoor picnic tables are available and may be reserved for your group. There are limited indoor facilities in the event of inclement weather. Please inform the Museum of any special needs when making reservations. FREE PARKING is available for cars and buses.
