for grades 3-6, $10/child ($8/member). Examine plant adaptations for survival in Rainforests, Bogs, and Deserts. Use clues to solve the case of the mixed up plants. Learn how plants are adapted to survive in their native habitats. Includes study of insectivorous plants. Make a terrarium to take home.
for grades K-2, $10/child ($8/member). Who depends on plants? That's the Mystery in Room 103. Solve the mystery and learn how important plants are to our daily lives. Explore the diversity of plants in the green house, plant a tops and bottoms science experiment, and make and taste a plant part parfait.
for grades, $10/child ($8/member). Celebrate Thanksgiving! Enjoy a feast of hands-on, interdisciplinary learning about local foods; the plants they come from, and the history, science, and culture that has led them to be grown in Minnesota. Make and taste applesauce, sweet potato pie, and popcorn.
