Running Tiger Academy has a long history with the homeschool community in the Twin Cities and is pleased to continue to offer training to homeschooled youth.
Over the years, Running Tiger Academy has offered private, group and ongoing martial arts and self-defense classes to homeschoolers and their families. Homeschooled youth not only train in homeschool-designated classes, but also in any of the regularly scheduled classes, depending on temperament, interest and schedule.

Homeschool Classes
Running Tiger classes for youth build a progressive pathway to a total martial arts experience. Classes explore both the ancient and modern forms in Shaolin Kenpo Karate in a holistic, upbeat approach that is ideal for energetic kids. Classes focus on precision, speed and control in developing martial artists. In addition to learning and practicing traditional karate skills and exercises, youth classes utilize a variety of approaches geared toward keeping things moving! Class are positive, upbeat and lighthearted, with plenty of space to build friendships. The opportunity to learn and test for colored belts is always available to students if they desire to progress in Shaolin Kenpo in this way.
Running Tiger Academy has a long history with the home school community in the Twin Cities and is pleased to continue to offer training to homeschooled youth. As with all Running Tiger Academy youth classes, there is no pressure and no contracts. Students are free to train when it is most fitting for them.
Homeschooling classes are typically taught by Sibok Meyer (Dave), Sibok Chacon (Joseph), or Sisuk Lingen (Robyn).
Cost per Child/Student: Running Tiger charges by the month. Students may take classes once or twice per week. Prices for weekly classes is $75 per month and two classes per week is $95 per month. Attendance is not mandatory, however, if a student misses a class, the cost of that class is not deducted from the monthly fee. Instead, the student may make up the missed class by attending another hour during the month.
