Whether you are a University of Minnesota faculty member or teaching assistant, or an elementary, middle, or high school teacher, WAM invites you to make our galleries part of your classroom this year.
Guided tours and workshops Advance reservations are required four weeks prior to your visit, in order to reserve space and resources for visiting groups. Guided and self-guided tour groups are subject to availability and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Maximum number of people per guided tour is 30 and for a self-guided tour is 20 and 1 chaperon per 10 students is required. For the safety and comfort of all visitors and for the protection of the artwork this tour size limit must be strictly enforced. Guided tours are $2 per student and generally last one hour. If your group is large, it will be divided into smaller touring groups of 10-15 students. Each touring group will be led by a Tour Guide, a volunteer educator who has been trained by museum staff.
