Steve Smela, Tutor Extraordinaire
I have several years' experience tutoring in math, both my own son and others, at levels from elementary school through high school. I can also assist with preparation for college entrance examinations.
I have taught graduate-level courses in statistics and other subjects at the U of MN's Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
I also lived in Japan for two years and can provide instruction in beginning Japanese.
My undergraduate major at Princeton was geology, and I have a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Minnesota.
I prefer to tutor out of my home, which is near the U of MN and the 35W bridge. My rate is $30/hour.
